This is a collection of frequently asked questions (FAQ) encountered by the KADA e-meetings coordinator.

Q: What is a "hybrid" meeting?
Hybrid meetings are normal AFG meetings that are actively meeting simultaneously in-person and also allow members to join online via Zoom or other virtual meeting platform.
The WSO does not currently have guidelines or official designation for hybrid meeting status. "Hybrid" is just a convenient neologism for this new idea.
Q: Does the WSO provide resources for hybrid meetings?
No, currently, the WSO does not recognize this term in any sanctioned way. There are a few distinctions for different types of meetings:
At the Spring 2021 TN Area assembly, it was shared that much of this evolving topic is currently left up to the area. The proposed "electronic area" might be a resource and catalyst for more information and guidelines. I will try to provide more information here as it becomes available.
Q: How do hybrid meetings protect the anonymity of its' members?
To me, it is not clear. Zoom meetings and electronic meetings provide a precedent in terms of what groups can do to protect the anonymity.
Groups might consider the anonymity topic in their group conscience before they engage in hybrid meetings.
Q: What resources does KADA provide to groups for hosting hybrid meetings?
Currently, KADA provides the following:
Each group may be self-supporting and investigate whether they meet the minimum requirements below to have a hybrid meetings. KADA does not prescribe any specific devices or practices, but we can share our experience for any groups that have questions and want to pursue hybrid meetings.

The details for each will be different for each group and each location depending on things like Internet access, device cost, and member availability. Q: Which KADA meetings are hybrid?
KADA meetings that are currently meeting in hybrid format are listed on the Electronic Meeting List Page. Meetings that are hybrid are indicated with the word (Hybrid). We will keep updating this list, as best we can, as the status for groups change. You may contact the group contact on the WSO meetings page for details directly from a group member.

- members that can reliably operate Zoom on the device
- group conscience that the hybrid meeting practices sufficiently protect the group's anonymity
